Well Wishes for Planning Season
We know that October and November are the busiest months for RecOps professionals. Before you dive into the critical cutting, reframing, and reviewing, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your achievements this year. It's been a challenging year, but you've made it this far. Here are a few tips to help you along:
Clean your data - Bad data in means bad decisions out. Take the time to review, correct, and understand any abnormalities.
Take time for the Retro - Retrospectives, especially when aided by data (both structured and unstructured), can help you identify areas for improvement in the next year. This will help you understand if some of the errors require a bit more training/enablement or if other avenues need to be pursued.
KISS it - In our space, we can often look to overengineer a process and add layers of unnecessary complexity. This is your reminder that the most straight line or simple solution should not be overlooked.
RecOps Updates
RecOps Conference - 2 weeks until showtime, here is the link for a 15% discount. You will also get a digital copy to James Colino’s book closer to the event and Luke Eaton’s surprise gift. If you're having trouble convincing your company or manager to send you, reach out, and we’ll chat with you about it. This event is for the community, so we want to help you.
Several other events are happening in Chicago around this time, like this great happy hour, so it is a great opportunity to meet others who might be attending.
RecOps—If you haven’t used the GPT yet, it is available in the OpenAI store and free to use.
