How are you doing? And no, that isn’t a facetious question. It is a genuine one.
It seems like 2024 continues to be a rollercoaster ride for our community. On one hand, we’ve seen a number of folks land new jobs and promotions. On the other hand, we’ve seen a number of folks continue to be searching (with some searches going on for 12+ months) or are impacted by layoffs or terminations for dubious reasons.
As a community, we’re on this ride together, and you are not alone. Check in with your personal executive board, take proper breaks away from screens, and remember to drink water.
And if you need to get anything off your chest, feel free to reach out. We’ll listen.
